Internationals Half Time Report and More!

First Half of the Internationals is done...and well things look good. Bendtner's injury is not as bad as feared and he will take part in their match against Norway. Only Gibbs had a knock for the U21's and was back for treatment. Another thing worth mentioning is the number of captains we have in this team..let's count (Just the ones who played on the weekend.) Rambo for Wales,Nasri for france,Arshavin for Russia,Chamakh for Morocco,Rocisky for Czech..and these from a team with "no leadership" add Verminator for belgium!

Still on the internationals,it was good to see Van p score,Nasri with an assist and Wilshere well Wilshere! Great game he had. As for Rambo,he looked rusty. Nothing a few games can't scrap off! So let's hope that we have as much luck today and tomorrow for those who will play in thier national colours. Arsenal and Liverpool had complained to the F.A concerning the selection of  Jack and Caroll respectively for the game aganist Ghana. Yeah I dont think the F.A will listen. Another one on that boy Jack is that Stuart Pierce is planning to take him up for the U21 Euros. Really? I know England are struggling but they have a flood of players (well not a flood) but Jack has already made it with the seniors, taking him back to U21 is like you being taken back to wearing diapers. He'll gain nothing,an injury maybe. Having played at the highest level,U21 would be kids play..am not under rating the under 21's in any way, just saying!

Now to other news,Lehman and Aliadière are set to start for the reserves later this evening here is the starting 11 ARSENAL: Lehmann; Hajrovic, Miquel, Boateng, Meade; Henderson, Ebecilio, Rees,Murphy, Aliadière, Freeman. Lehman should be warming up for the weekend..prof is tight lipped on this but we all know Almunia is coming nowhere near that goal post Saturday. So you ask who Aliadière is..he signed at 16 for the youth team in 2000 remember a young french striker who came to the light after a certain Jefers (what happened to him?) he was among the 'future stars' class of Cesc,Lupoli,Senderos e.t.c after a few decent performances in 06-07 season he grew a big head an d was offloaded to Boro..he scored a couple of times against us,Boro got relegated he stayed with them till the end of his contract in june 2010. He was allegedly signed by an Arab club Al Ain,but it was not to be. He returned to train with Arsenal in March. He says that if Arsene needs a striker he would be happy to return...aaahh No chance mate! I don't see it happening!

With the summer around the corner, (the worst time to be a gooner!) speculations are flying in from all over. Per Metersaker says he would love to play in the premier league..it's said that we are front runners to get him...aah again not happening, with Verminator coming back next season and Djorou looking solid. Maarten Stekelenburg,“If Arsenal make an offer, I will leave Holland”  As much as I'd like to see him come, this is just another dream..Woijech and Fabianski with Mannone coming back. Axel Witsel..we have too many creative midfielders already. Bayern Munich have Gael Clichy at the top of their shopping list, add Juventus who have been sniffing around him for a while. Well if his contract talks continue stalling as they are maybe it's time to cash in! But Gibbs is not what you'd call decent cover..he's good but very injury prone. And to the never ending story of Cesc to Barca. Here's what I think,if he did not leave last summer then we have him for another 3-4 years. Barcelona don't have the money,if they want him that bad they'd have to offload a good amount of players.I don't see them doing that for one player..it's not like they are doomed if they don't get him. The 3-4 years is the amount of time Xavi has to play in my opinion, till he leaves or hits a major slump in form whichever comes first. Then and only then will they come for him with everything they got!

Enough with the barcunts (I have to go disinfect mt hands after this!) Finally Wenger and Nasri have decided not to appeal their one match ban..it's going to be a group match after all what is the use!
And with that my fellow Kenyan Gooners..Keep the Faith (Am looking for a swahili slogan!)

A bit of Everything on a Quiet International Break!!

So here it is fair Gentles and the few ladies...a blog for Kenyan gooners,by a kenyan gooner! I've picked this quiet international break to launch it,well because there's not much activity at the club scene! So Karibu..

If we were to rank gooners by country,Kenya would be playing in the top 5 that's for sure, guys have killed themselves because of this team, beat up their friends and wives too! Not that I support these actions, its 'just' football. Right? I think it's about time we get an up to date, interactive blog on our beloved team..

Okey here's what you should expect from me :
1. Latest news on our beloved team e.g Laurent Koscielny just had a baby (that's 1 less injury to worry about from the internationals!..am not sure whether it's a girl or a boy..)
2. Game pre-views,reviews and analysis from my humble point of view, though it won't come out as that most of the time.
3. Your take on everything gooner...who should we get in,out as far away from the ems as possible. E.t.c It won't reach prof. but hey where's the harm in trying? Miracles happen.
4. Am planning to get guest writters, with experience..not these biased amateurs who write our papers!

With that we may start...
I won't dwell on the WBA game, for me it was more of a point gained than 2 lost..the less we talk about that the better!
One thing though,Almunia..Almunia..Almunia..wow! I just hope Mad Jens is working his gloves off to get fit and sharp,he's been spotted at the London Conoley training ground with the england team. I'd rather we have him for the 9 games! With Almunia you don't know who will turn up..the one who played aganist the barcunts or the one we saw at the weekend. He's as inconsistent as they get..we can't have that now! Another Mention is Ramsey..he looked quite sharp when he came on..great to see, great to see!!

The International's are here,we have 14 players out (including Vela and Lansbury for England's U21) as I said earlier Koscienly pulled out of the France squad,I don't expect him to go back! So that's 11. Lansbury pilled out of the England U21's with an injury, make that 10. I think this break is good for us,the players can have a good run out with their national teams and shrug off the dip that we were experiencing! As always fingers, buttons, eyes, legs, hands, arms and everything crossable crossed that they come back in one piece! (looking at Van persie!)
That brings me to our current injury woes..Cesc is back training tommorow,it was confirmed yesterday that Djorou is 4 weeks away.Szczesny is still 6 weeks away, though he is training on other aspects of his game. Still no word on Song. Just as I was ready to post...this comes in "Reports are coming out of the Danish camp that Bendtner may have seriously injured his ankle, It is reported that he collapsed during training, with no-one else near him." Here is a link  http://www.ladyarse.co.uk/2011/03/bendtner-injured-in-training-with-denmark/
That is 9 now out on international duty!

Sasa siasa...There are fresh calls for Prof's exit! Am going to say this once..That is no solution! We have a great manager, teams would kill to have him! He's abit stubborn, that is all he needs to change. And with whispers going through that Pat Rice has asked to leave at the end of the season,to spend more time with the wife..the board will be absolutely bonkers to even think of showing Prof. the door! Major share holder Alisher Usmanov has increased his stake at the club to 27%..If we were to be taken over (which I don't see happening) this would be the last person I'd like to see buying the club..why? he's a manure fan!

Photos of next season's jersey (125th Aniversary of The Arsenal Football Club) have been leaked from a certain online store..I must say..these look quite genuine compared to the last ones I saw here have a look!

With that kenyan gooners...Keep the faith! (this is my sign out, tell me what you think of it!)
